The agreement between you and ShannonGuides when you purchase a guide or book a consulting session. Written in plain language, intentionally short, no legalese padding.
Buy a guide, use it personally for whatever you need. Don't republish it or pass the PDF around — that's the only rule. We do our best to keep the guides accurate but cannot guarantee every detail is current. If something goes wrong with delivery or you have a problem, email us and we'll sort it out.
These terms apply to all purchases from shannonguides.com and the Tor hidden service (.onion) version of the site, as well as to any consulting engagement booked via either. By making a purchase or booking, you agree to these terms.
When you purchase a guide, you receive a single-user licence to use that guide for personal or internal-business reference. The licence is non-transferable. You retain the right to print physical copies for your own use as part of putting the material into practice.
After successful payment, you receive two emails:
If either email does not arrive within 30 minutes (check spam folder first), email info@shannonguides.com with the order reference shown on your confirmation page.
Because guides are digital products delivered immediately, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis rather than as a blanket policy. If you experience a delivery failure, a technical defect, a content issue, or any genuine reason to request a refund, email info@shannonguides.com with your order reference and a description of the issue. Reasonable requests are honoured.
Each guide is written from direct personal experience and reviewed for accuracy at the time of publication. Software interfaces change, prices change, regulations change, and hardware models are superseded. We do not warrant that any specific procedure, screenshot, command, price, or technical detail will be current at the moment you read it.
For any task with significant consequences — financial decisions, choices that affect your legal standing, configurations that affect access to important accounts, or anything else where a mistake is hard to reverse — use your own professional judgment and consult qualified professionals where appropriate. The guides are aids to understanding, not substitutes for competent practice or qualified advice.
ShannonGuides' total liability for any claim arising from your purchase is limited to the price you paid for the guide. ShannonGuides is not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages, or for any outcome resulting from your decision to follow, modify, or disregard information presented in a guide.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through email correspondence shall be brought in the courts of Ontario.
Material changes will be noted on this page with the effective date below. Changes do not retroactively affect guides already purchased — the licence terms in effect at the moment of your purchase remain the ones that apply to that purchase.
